This Mini actually has the best of everything. A particularly complete equipment, because cognac leather upholstery, cruise control and seat heating, for example. The most potent motorization. The best color, Pepper White. And of course the nicest body; Convertible! Add to that the relatively low mileage and you have the recipe for pure pleasure.
Delivered new in Belgium, then brought to the Netherlands, a common situation. The complete maintenance history can be found in the service folder, up to the last maintenance, carried out last week. Naturally, the MOT was also passed flawlessly that week, without any comments.
Drive it and you will notice that the Mini has been well maintained. No vibrations, no rattling suspension. The steering feels good and the power steering does not make any strange noises. The soft top opens and closes perfectly and the fabric is nice and clean. Important, because these are often contaminated and green with deposits. The steering wheel is in mint condition, both seats look great. No parking dents, no scratches, no damage.
Of course there is air conditioning, automatic climate control. Set the temperature and the system does the work for you!
The Pioneer radio ensures that you have a Bluetooth connection to play your music or make calls via the car kit. Nicely built in, because even the radio controls on the steering wheel work well with the Pioneer radio.
And what a wonderful sporty drive it is, driving a Mini Cooper S! The light and direct steering is the result of the low weight and low center of gravity. The short wheelbase and the wheels placed on the extreme corners make it an agile car, the Mini is logically often compared to a go-kart.
The Cooper S stands on four neat rims, fitted with tires with good profile. The battery was replaced during maintenance and is therefore only a few weeks old. There are no warning lights or error messages. The dashboard also indicates that another maintenance service is not required until after 20,000 km.
Are there any negatives, you wonder? Of course, every 15-year-old car has its downsides. For example, two rims are a bit damaged at the edges. there is only one key present. You can also hear the rear tires making a slight noise, as is the case with almost every Mini. There is no carpet set, but that is a good opportunity to choose a set yourself, the range online is enormous.
