Delivered by Kroymans Jaguar Zaltbommel on January 11, 2003 and maintained exclusively by specialists, up to today. Well: until May 28, 2024, the day of the last maintenance. Of course the XKR is equipped with a new MOT.
This Anthracite Metallic XK8 is in beautiful state. In recent years, a lot of attention has been paid to the condition of the XKR. The maintenance is neatly specified on the supplied invoices, largely from renowned Jaguar specialist Jagpoint Maintenance, De Bilt. Renovation work has recently been carried out on some sheet metal parts, such as the rear wheel arch edges. Brake discs and brake pads were also replaced in September 2023, a relatively large expense that the new owner will therefore be spared. Further advantages of the extensive care of the R are the newly painted window surroundings and the renewed rim edges, a beautiful sight.
Only 149,944km in the past 21 years! Enough to keep the car in good condition, but not enough to cause the mileage to increase rapidly. Where else can you find them?
An interior and exterior in great condition, a chassis in top condition, everything exudes fitness. Step into the Jag and you will enjoy the most beautiful dashboard from the 1990s. The interior is made of Oatmeal leather. Of course you’ll find burr walnut wood in abundance, combined with aluminum accents around the J-gate and on the pedals.
Of course we took a good look at the XK from below, on the bridge. As expected with this mileage, everything looks neat. In fact; body and chassis are very hard, the rear subframe situated neatly in the right place and the engine and gearbox are dry on the underside. Unique!
You also notice it in every way when you drive this Jaguar; the car is in good condition. It’s the little things that make this stand out. This way, the Coupe is steering very tightly, without any play in the parts of the chassis. The gearbox changes gears smoothly and almost unnoticed and the engine runs nicely, as it should. The differential is quiet. The well-known modification of distribution chain tensioners and guides has already been carried out. The wonderful Alpine music system works as it should, the amplifier functions and the subwoofer sounds as it should. CD changer is active and the radio code is present. As mentioned, the last maintenance was carried out on May 28, 2024.
Are there any negatives, you ask? Only a small number. For example, one of the chrome rim edges is very slightly damaged, almost not visible. The armrest has some slight wear and tear but still original, cup holders functioning. There is a minor scratch to the leather of the steering wheel and a single crack in the woodwork’s lacquer, which is a standard phenomenon with XK woodwork.
The key set is complete; 2 black keys with remote controlm and a green Valet key. The complete service folder is included with the car. Many invoices are available and of course the maintenance booklet is neatly stamped.
The single small parking dent has already been removed. Before delivery, the paintwork of the Coupe will be professionally polished and protected. As mentioned, the XK is delivered with a fresh maintenance service and a new MOT (NL)
There is still a lot to say about this Jaguar, but you will of course only get a good impression when you view and drive the car. you are very welcome in Oirschot, the coffee is ready.
